I replaced the tile in a small table I found at a local thrift shop with stones I had in my shop. The large slab of Wyoming Jade is from my cousin's former rock shop, and the Lyons sandstone is from quarries near Boulder, Colorado where I live. I used silicone grout on this table which makes it better able to survive repeated freeze thaw cycles. Its now used as an outdoor plant stand, but could be used in an interior room.
I have several small tables ready for new tops and lots of interesting stones in my shop. Contact me at Bill@wkpaccenttables.com and we can exchange pictures and explore what kind of plant stand I can make for your home.
