This was a very fun table to make. In the spring of 2014 my cousin gave me the two slabs of fluorite seen at the two ends of the finished table. My wife and I like to brouse the local resource center for table bases and otehr stuff. In the tile pile, she found the spectacular large stone tile with two green patches that we knew we could alighn with the tile.
It was easy to comple the top with small pieces of lyons sandstone I chissled to fit. The weathered steel band went on without a hitch.
The resulting table is one of my best so far. It was quickly snatched up.
