This table started with a used whiskey barrell hoop and a 'plate' cut and pollished from a slab from a Moroccan fossil bed. I glued it and pieces of Lyons sandstone onto a 3/4" thick disk of plywood, filled the gaps with grout, and sealed the finished product.
I mounted the top on three sturdy three rod hair pin legs.
You can use this as a bench, coffee table, end table, entry way table, or even as a side table.
