I've made two tables using the Hopi hand symbol, the little one above and the big one below. I had the hands cut from a piece of fossiliferous stone with a water jet (cool stuff).
Left hand resonantes on many levels in Boulder Colorado where I live. Chief Niwot, who was left handed, was the local indain chief when boulder was settled in the 1860's, so there are place names arround here like Niwot the city, Left hand the canyon, or my favorite Left hand the beer!
Chief Niwot is most famous for the 'curse' he put on all who viewed the Boulder valley. The curse is that if you have seen the Boulder Valley you are doomed to return. The curse is true. I left Boulder in 1971 after graduate school and wandered here and there untill I returned in 2000!
