A table for my son and his family.

Five years ago I was relearning the table making skills I developed as a student at the University of Colorado.  AND I added a new trick of cutting really round shapes on a waterjet cutter.

The problem was that the wagon wheel I had was not round!   I had to break up the circular slab of sandstone to fit the shape of the wheel.  It broke up nicely.    

The picture above is the table at my son's house and the one below was taking in my shop.

Its hard (and expensive) to get wagon wheel rims now.  If you have one you'd like fitted with a sandstone top, drop me an e-mail to bill@wkpAccentTables.com
