After one of my first showings, a colleague suggested I use slabs of semi-precious rocks as foucs points in my tables.   Now, almost all of my tables do.

I got the three slabs of Colorado flourite shown here from my cousin who cut them from a rock she had for sale in her shop.  She sold her shop and I haven't been able to find such large nice slabs.
