Two years ago a friend stop by and asked me to make a couple of tables for him.  We looked at what rocks and bases we had in the shop and found these seven slabs of petrified wood I'd collected.   My usual thought is to have one or three focus stones on a top to 'keep it simple'.    He liked seven! so seven it was.

I like the result.

See there is no such thing as too much petrified wood on a table top.
