I found the central slab of fossilsed fish from the Green River, Wyoming, formation at a gem and mineral show.  I got stone from the same formation for a local geologist. The red Lyons Sandstone came from one of the quarries in Lyons Colorado.

I had fun with this design.  I had been thining about one of the fishing trips I took with my dad and mother 65 years ago to a meadow above Eagle Colorado.....Its condo's now.
