Are you familiar with the red sandstone used on the University of Colorao's Boulder campus buildings. I live in Boulder and have access to the quarries where this Lyon sand stone is obtained. Its a hard stone that was originally used for sidewalks in Denver, Chicago, and other midwestern cities.
I've taken some thin (1/2") slabs, and a nice piece of petrified wood to make this 40" hexagonal x 29" tall table. The top is removeable from the welded steel tube base.
This is the second table like this I've made. The first one is in a studio appartment behind my son's house in Porland Oregon.
