I traded some stones to my colleague Susan Judy for several slabs of rose colored marble from a copper mine south of Tucson. It turns out my daughter-in-law's father and uncle have worked in this mine! In any case the stones look better in person than in the only picture I have of the table.
This table is large . about 5 feet by 3 feet, and heavy. I found the metal base at a resorse center and the red sandstone at a quarry in Lyons Colorado.
Its the 100th table I madel . I like it a lot.
