Buffaloes (actually American Bison) are a potent symbol of the old west and more recently the University of Colorado.  Denver maintains two herds of fenced in buffalo. People go to Yellowstone park to see them roaming free as they once did.

I've made several tables featuring a buffalo silhouette or design such as the one above.  I recently had a new batch of buffalo silhouettes cut from pure white marble.  I'm currently finishing the table shown below.  It will be for sale on my web site in a few weeks.
