I first used a waterjet company in Denver to cut a circular table top from sandstone. It was so successful I had him cut some dinosaur footprint shapes that were in book my wife illustrated.
The base is quite sturdy. It uses 4 steel three rod hairpin legs so there is no wobble that is usally found when you use just two rod legs.
I had four foot prints cut and sold the first one. I have this completed stool / end table / coffee table available and can easily make more if you want a set!
