I got a big rock of adventurine from a Wyoming quarry at a rock shop in Estes Park.  I got it cut into slabs at my cousin's rock shop in Golden.  Adventurine is a semi-precious stone that is usually used in earings and other jewlery.  I think the large slabs are quite nice on this 24" x 24" x 18" tall side/coffee table.
