I made this table in 2012 and gave it to a friend who has a strong interest in a particular dinosaur tracker as well as dinosaur tracks. It includes the artifical dinosaur track I found in my cousin's rock shop in Golden. It looked too good to be real, and yes it was!
The rim is a used whiskey barell hoop. I bought up all of the hair pin legs from our local hardware store and had to get a new supplier (at considerably more cost) for subsequent tables.
My wife illustrated a book on dinosaur tracks. I pulled an image from the book and had a slab of Lyon's sandstone cut to that shape in a local waterjet facility. I put a rim of a thin steel on it, and used expensive steel three rod hairpin legs. This one is for sale at wkpaccenttables.com. It ships free to the 48 contiguous states.
