In 2013 I got really excited about making tables and, at the encouragement of a colleague, started using semi-precious foucs stones.

I purchaed the German dendritic limestone here at the Orignal Denver Gem and Minneral show.  At the time I bought rectangular pieces.  After some thought, I was able to coax a design out of two of them for this table.

I gave this table to the colleague as a house warming gift.  Below is a picture of one of the slabs of German dendritic limestone I now have available. The color of this stone will darken when I waterproof it as you can see in the image of the finished table above.
